Who do I contact about the trades in Alberta?

The Apprenticeship and Industry Training division of Alberta Advanced Education is the provincial government body responsible for administering legislation, regulations, training programs and certification in the trades. Apprenticeship and Industry Training's website provides detailed information about trades that is not duplicated here.

Information about the trades is also available by telephone. To find out how to contact the Apprenticeship and Industry Training office nearest you, call the Alberta Career Information Hotline between 8:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
